Baby Food Made Easy with Cuisinart Baby Food Maker {with a chance to win your own!} #HomemadeBabyFood

This post is sponsored by Cuisinart, but my immense love for their Baby Food Maker is all my own!!

One of the best parts about being a parent is feeding my kiddos. I seriously love watching them eat, knowing that they are getting packed full of nutrients. I've been blessed with 4 kids that are all very healthy eaters which makes mealtime a blast, they are willing to try almost anything that I put on the table. I think a huge reason for their willingness to eat such a variety of foods is that we've always fed them whatever we would be eating. It all starts when they are babies, making them homemade healthy and easy baby food recipes. I prefer making my own baby food, instead of purchasing it from the store, because I know for certain what the ingredients are. If I want to feed my babies carrots and brown rice, I can be sure that all they are eating are carrots and brown rice. No additives, no preservatives - just 100% goodness. One of my favorite sites to visit for healthy and easy baby food recipes is Cuisinart's Family & Health page. Honestly, it's a great resource for parents wanting to ensure their babies are getting the best nutrition possible.

Now, let's talk more about those carrots and brown rice...

I used to have to steam these carrots on the stove before turning them into baby food using my handy dandy Cuisinart food processor. However, things are a changing and Cuisinart has made making baby food SO much easier! Let me introduce you to the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker and Bottle Warmer...

I wish I had this bad boy 5 years ago when my firstborn started eating solids!! Feeding my babies healthy and fresh food is of the utmost importance and with this Cuisinart Baby Food Maker the control is totally in your hands. You pick the produce, you pick the grains and you pick the proteins - then you leave the hardwork up to the Baby Food Maker. {while you sit back with your legs kicked up! ;)}

First, you need to chop up what you will be steaming. 1/2" to 1" pieces work wonderful.

Place the produce into the bowl of the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker.

Add water {exact amounts are given in instruction manual} into the steam/bottle warmer chamber. {how awesome is it that the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker has a built-in bottle warmer?}

Then you set the dial to steam...

and the magic {not really magic, more like science...} starts to happen.

The maker will automatically turn off when the measured amount of water is gone. Leaving tender produce ready to be processed into healthy and easy baby food.

Now all that's left to do is switch the dial to chop and process the produce that you {ok, really it was the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker} just steamed.

You can even add in some grains and/or proteins to fit your baby's nutritional needs.

And just like that we have quite possibly the easiest homemade baby food ever.

For this Carrot-Brown Rice Homemade Baby Food I used 10oz of baby carrots along with 1 cup of cooked brown rice and produced 16 ounces of finished product. 16 ounces of all-natural baby food with no surprise ingredients, now that's what I'm talking about!!
