#AD General Tso Boneless Wing "Nachos" {Deli Wings}

These General Tso Boneless Wing "Nachos", which are perfect for game day, have been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GameTimeHero #CollectiveBias

If you have plans to attend a party next weekend for the big game but don't know what appetizer to bring along - I've got you covered! These General Tso Boneless Wing "Nachos" are General Tso Boneless Deli Wings smothered with melted Monterey Jack cheese, avocados, green onions, crushed pineapple, sesame oil and sesame seeds. The "nachos" are perfect for hungry appetites on game day, especially those that like an extra kick of spice in their food. This recipe is oh-so good on the taste-buds and an absolute cinch to make. My secret? Tyson General Tso Boneless Wings. But not the frozen ones you can find in the freezer section - I'm talking hot & ready, prepared Tyson Deli Wings from the Walmart Deli.

The wings don't need to be smothered with anything {besides that delicious General Tso sauce!} to be delicious - just give me a fork and I'll devour a small container of the General Tso Boneless Wings. {pair with an apple from produce plus a yogurt from dairy for the perfect lunch!} They make a great bite for game day, team them up with a favorite sauce or two and your all set. Tailgating? You can just pick these bad boys up from Walmart, on the way to the game, for a perfect appetizer that involves no prep and is ready to eat.

We gave these General Tso Boneless Wing "Nachos" a test run before the championship game next weekend and they were devoured in no time. {Even our 2 year olds were digging in!!} Check out how easy these are!

Pick up some General Tso Boneless Wings from Walmart Deli - and also whatever ingredients you don't already have on hand. I topped our "nachos" with Monterey Jack cheese, avocados, green onions, crushed pineapple, sesame oil and sesame seeds.

Heat oven to 400 and place boneless wings on baking tray. I used no-wax parchment paper to make the transfer to a plate easier.

Then top the boneless wings with the delicious toppings...

and bake until the cheese is melted.

Serving with chopsticks is optional - but it does add some novelty to the dish, and it's fun to see everyone's chopstick skills! I didn't make a sauce to serve with the General Tso Boneless Wing "Nachos" since I thought they would be flavorful enough and didn't want to overpower them - however, I think they would be fabulous served with spicy mustard. {Not that these need more flavor, the spicy mustard would just be the perfect accompaniment!}

General Tso Boneless Wing "Nachos" {Deli Wings}
(PRINTABLE RECIPE)
Ingredients
2lbs. Tyson General Tso Boneless Chicken Wings {from Walmart Deli}

1 avocado, cubed
8oz crushed pineapple, drained

5 Monster Jam Inspired Desserts and a Monster Jam Show

I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events.

If your kids are anything like mine - they will go CRAZY for these Monster Jam Inspired Desserts!

1. Monster Truck Cake Shortcut {a simple DIY}
Instructables {because we can't all make fabulous cakes from scratch!}

2. Grave Digger Ice Cream Sundae
Hungry Harps

3. "Muddy Tires"
Hostess with the Mostess

4. Grave Digger Inspired Cheesecake
Hungry Harps

5. Jell-O Jiggler Cars
Catch My Party {I found the molds at Amazon!}

I was inspired to do this post after attending a Monster Jam show at Sleep Train Arena last night. We had such a great time with our two oldest boys {ages 4 & 6} that I wanted to keep the car-crushin', dirt-slingin' fun going! We were able to see trucks Cleatus, Obsession, Obsessed, Destroyer, Doomsday, Play'n For Keeps, Zombie and our favorite - Grave Digger! It was a great line-up of trucks with even a few I'd never seen perform before. Have you heard of the Dooms Day truck yet? It's not listed on the Monster Jam site and the driver was not revealed - but it is an amazing truck that does not disappoint one bit!!

Although Sleep Train Arena is a smaller venue for Monster Jam trucks, the awesome drivers do a great job with the space they have to work with. There were 4 events {Wheelie Contest, Obstacle Course, Drag Racing and a favorite amongst the crowd - Freestyle} with side shows of UTV and Quad racing. The show was 2 hours but I could have watched it for twice that time. When you look around the crowd, you see SO MANY families - kids of all ages. Monster Jam shows are so much fun for the whole family! {even teenagers, who we all know can be hard to please at times!} Then in addition to the monster trucks and the fun crowd, there are the drivers that are genuinely appreciative of all the fans, they even stay after the show to sign autographs for every single person who wants one. Every. Single. Person.

Monster Jam is a fabulous organization that has fantastic family-friendly shows. {If you've never been to one, check out YouTube clips and see what you've been missing!} For show schedule and ticket information, check out the Monster Jam website or Ticketmaster.

Grave Digger Ice Cream Sundae and Event Details for Monster Jam in Sacramento

I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events.

Monster Jam is coming to Sacramento, CA, so of course we had to have our own little celebration! It's a ritual of ours to play hard with Monster Jam die cast trucks the night before a Monster Jam show and this year we decided to pair our playtime with a Grave Digger Ice Cream Sundae. The blend of flavors in this sundae are extraordinary and the kids got a kick out of the fun color combinations that represented their favorite truck - Grave Digger!

This would be such a fun dessert to serve at a Monster Jam themed party - or just to celebrate your favorite show coming to town! It's so simple that it doesn't even require a recipe to be included. Here are the layers:

1. Press a brownie into the bottom of an ice cream/trifle dish {this is to represent dirt}
2. Scoop in green ice cream. {for the green on Grave Digger's truck. We used pistachio, but mint chocolate chip would work be great too.}
3. Drizzle with chocolate syrup {this is to represent oil}
4. Drizzle on blueberry sauce {for the purple on Grave Digger's truck.}
5. Top with whip cream {because it's a sundae!}
6. Sprinkle on chopped nuts {because you have to be a little nutty to drive a Monster Jam truck! haha}
7. Sprinkle on sprinkles {I found this mix and sorted out the green and purple for this sundae.}
8. Cherry on top {it's the only way!}

Quick Bites for Game Day and DIY Dry-Erase Scoreboard Snack Canisters

These delicious Quick Bites for Game Day and this festive DIY Dry-Erase Scoreboard Snack Canisters have been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #BigGameSnacks #CollectiveBias

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the best part about football season is the food! For as long as I can remember, football Sunday has always been about the game grub. Besides hanging out with family and friends, it's the delicious appetizers, snack-foods and ice-cold beverages that I'm looking forward to during football season. This year I've decided to keep it simple and make a couple Quick Bites for Game Day; a Crunchy Party Mix and Chili-Ranch Dip. These two recipes are no-cook, can be made ahead of time and will travel well - saving time and making it easy! Since I made it so easy on myself this year with the food I decided to use my saved time to get a little crafty and make DIY Dry-Erase Scoreboard Snack Canisters.

Not that it's necessary to do anything to Pringles cans this football season - check out their awesome packaging!! I am a huge fan of seasonal and holiday packaging, so when I saw these Pringles cans at the store I instantly fell in love.

Pringles are one of the most fashionable choices for your game day food table and they also happen to be a favorite amongst the masses, myself included. I've been in love with Pringles since I can remember, however they've never been my go-to when it comes to dipping - until now.  Since Pringles are a touch thinner than regular potato chips I was always worried about them breaking under the weight of a dip. So, I took matters into my own hands and created a thin dip that is perfect for dipping Pringles. This Chili-Ranch Dip is only 5-ingredients and the perfect solution to your Pringles-dipping-needs - it's light, not chunky and full of zesty flavor!

Chili-Ranch Dip for Dipping Pringles
yields approx 4 cups
{PRINTABLE RECIPE}
Ingredients
15oz can No Bean chili
1oz packet ranch dip powder mix
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
¾ cup milk
diced chives to garnish
Directions
1. Mix together ranch dip powder mix, mayo, sour cream and milk.
2. In food processor, add ranch mix and No Bean Chili and process until fully combined and smooth.
3. Chill for 2 hours, serve with Pringles. Enjoy!

I also made this Crunchy Party Mix that combines a plethora of flavors and is a snap to put together. With wasabi peas, beef jerky, rye chips, unsalted cashews, sesame sticks and Cheez-It Crunch'd {a new Cheez-It product made with 100% real cheese!} it is sure to include something for everyone, plus be a refreshing change from the same ol' party mixes that are full of pretzels. Yay!

Crunchy Party Mix made with Cheez-It Crunch’d
yields approximately 7 cups
{PRINTABLE RECIPE}
Ingredients
2 cups Cheez-It Crunch’d
1 cup wasabi peas
1 cup beef jerky sticks, chopped
1 cup rye chips
1 cup unsalted cashews
1 cup sesame sticks
Directions
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Enjoy!

Flavored Milk for Dipping Cookies

Cookies and milk just got better - which I didn't think was possible! Here is a simple DIY tip for making flavored milk, easily customizable to pair with your favorite cookie.

I wasn't trying to improve on the classic cookies and milk, it just kind of happened. I was enjoying my coffee creamer so much the other day that I started thinking about what else I could use it in. I finally came up with the thought of putting a bit of it in milk - and what's the best thing to do with milk? Dip cookies in it of course! This DIY Flavored Milk for Dipping Cookies is a quick solution to jazzing up a simple "cookies and milk" dessert.

Our favorite cookies are Oreos - this is without a doubt. I grabbed a package of Oreos at the store and then checked out the selection of coffee creamers to find a perfect match. As soon as I spotted the Coffee-mate Peppermint Mocha I knew it was going to be an excellent pairing with our favorite cookies. Between all the different cookies and coffees creamers available at the store, the "Flavored Milk and cookie" combinations are countless! {well not really, but who has time for all that?!?}

(side-note: that awesome dipping tool above is the dipr - so much fun for the kiddos!!)

Just like you use liquid coffee creamer for your coffee, add as much or little as you like. Enjoy!

Jalapeno-Parmesan Crusted Chicken Fingers

Happy New Year! It's the first day of the year and I'm here to cross an item off of my 2015 Recipe Bucket List - Hellman's Parmesan Crusted Chicken. But how boring would it be to not try my own twist on the recipe? So I made two batches of Parmesan Crusted Chicken Fingers, one was the original recipe and the other had jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder and more parmesan cheese added to it. These Jalapeño-Parmesan Crusted Chicken Fingers have a perfect zesty kick and would make a great finger food for parties, snack-time or a favorite of ours - family movie night.

I've been dying to Hellman's Parmesan Crusted Chicken since I first heard of it - but just hadn't gotten around it. Let me tell you, this is an awesome way to prepare chicken and is hardly any work at all. It's simple to make and FULL of flavor. For the original recipe, just check out the back of a Hellman's/Best Foods mayo jar.

We enjoyed our Jalapeno-Parmesan Crusted Chicken Fingers with a homemade mustard dipping sauce that ended up being the perfect accompaniment. {recipe to come soon - still need to make a couple perfections to the mixture} - but they would also taste fabulous dipped in ranch dressing or without a dipping sauce at all.

Jalapeno-Parmesan Crusted Chicken Fingers
{printable recipe}
Ingredients
3 chicken breasts, sliced into 1” strips
½ cup Hellman’s or Best Foods Real Mayonnaise
½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped jalapeños, plus more to top each chicken finger with {I used Mezzetta Deli Sliced Hot Jalapeño Peppers}
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
Directions
1.Heat oven to 350.
2.Mix together mayo, cheese, garlic and onion powders.
3.Place chicken strips onto baking sheet, use two to avoid any overcrowding.
4.Evenly spread mayo mixture over chicken strips. I ended up using my fingers to help distribute evenly. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top and place 1 slice of jalapeño on top of each chicken finger.
5.Bake for about 15 minutes or until cheese has started to bubble and turn golden brown.
6.Remove from oven, let cool a little before eating and enjoy!!
