What We Ate in Reno, NV {with 4 meals under $10!!}
Last weekend we {myself, Mr. Hungry Harps and a couple of our very best friends} headed over the Sierra Mountains to Reno, Nevada. We gambled, we drank, we got into some shenanigans and most importantly we ate - you know, to stay energized for the whole adventure. Check out these local(ish) gems we found and love!!
1. The Awful Awful Burger from The Nugget {not John Ascuaga's)
$7.99 for a 1/2lb Awful Awful Cheeseburger and 1lb of French FriesThe Nugget - 233 N Virginia Street in Reno, NV 89431
We were starving by the time we reached Reno and The Nugget was our first stop. This place is the definition of a hole in the wall, complete with no website. However, it's the kind of place I love. Non-assuming, a little dim and full of memories. Mr. Hungry Harps and I shared one of these burgers because we couldn't rationally order 2 pounds of fries and expect to finish them all. As it turned out - ordering one was perfect. We split the burger and the Mr. finished the fries off. I can't believe we ate this much food for 3.99 each! If you are all about a good deal - this is it. The burger tastes like the one you find on the bbq on Sunday evening and the fries are suprisingly awesome. I am in love and will keep going to this establishment for my Downtown Reno Burger Needs!

Baby Food Made Easy with Cuisinart Baby Food Maker {with a chance to win your own!} #HomemadeBabyFood
This post is sponsored by Cuisinart, but my immense love for their Baby Food Maker is all my own!!
One of the best parts about being a parent is feeding my kiddos. I seriously love watching them eat, knowing that they are getting packed full of nutrients. I've been blessed with 4 kids that are all very healthy eaters which makes mealtime a blast, they are willing to try almost anything that I put on the table. I think a huge reason for their willingness to eat such a variety of foods is that we've always fed them whatever we would be eating. It all starts when they are babies, making them homemade healthy and easy baby food recipes. I prefer making my own baby food, instead of purchasing it from the store, because I know for certain what the ingredients are. If I want to feed my babies carrots and brown rice, I can be sure that all they are eating are carrots and brown rice. No additives, no preservatives - just 100% goodness. One of my favorite sites to visit for healthy and easy baby food recipes is Cuisinart's Family & Health page. Honestly, it's a great resource for parents wanting to ensure their babies are getting the best nutrition possible.
Now, let's talk more about those carrots and brown rice...
I used to have to steam these carrots on the stove before turning them into baby food using my handy dandy Cuisinart food processor. However, things are a changing and Cuisinart has made making baby food SO much easier! Let me introduce you to the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker and Bottle Warmer...

Late Night Baking with 5-hour ENERGY® Shots & a 6-month Supply of 5-hour ENERGY® Shots Giveaway
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and it's advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CollectiveBias #ThisIsMySecret
Hands down, the best time to be in the kitchen is nighttime. It's cool outside, the house is quiet and there are no little monsters {kids, 4 of them} getting under my feet in the kitchen. It's a time that I can focus on the task {recipe} at hand and relax since there are no worries of being interrupted. It's my time to create recipes for blog posts, do meal prep for the next day, cook food for family gatherings and my favorite - baking for no reason at all. However, there are times when I'm feeling a little zapped at the end of the day and need a bit more energy to get me through - this is where my Late Night Baking with 5-hour ENERGY® Shots comes into play.
