Last night the Hungry Harp family loaded up the car and drove to Grandma & Papa's for a wonderful treat, Aunt Terri's Famous Fried Chicken. It's a big deal, and I love that we have dishes in the family that everybody LOVES. Fortunate for us, Aunt Terri cooks for a small army, so there are leftovers every time!!
My Grandma made Fried Chicken better than anyone I have ever met. Since Grandma passed, Aunt Terri is the only one who comes close to making Grandma's Chicken. Growing up, I always knew that if Grandma was making her Fried Chicken, everyone was coming over. It was a special dinner and I am glad that I have the childhood memories of a food being able to bring an entire family together. Now it passes on to the next generation, Toddler and Infant Harp, two little boys that will learn that food & family go great together. :)

I love cows ♥
I seriously do. Without cows I would not have the milk I drink, the steaks I eat or the leather on my shoes. Although PETA would have a fit over my previous comment, they would have to admit that we have one thing in common: we both love cows.♥ The grilled tri tip we had last night was wonderful. I used a seasoning packet from The Pantry Club as a rub on the meat, then cooked over low-med heat on the bbq for about 30mins. It came out a bit more done than we like in our home, but it was still delicious. Not a leftover in sight.
